Join your NextGen peers in Jefferson City to learn about advocacy and take part in Missouri’s legislative process!

The 2025 NextGen Day at the Capitol will be held at the Millbottom, just a short walk to the Capitol building with free onsite parking.

The day begins with a briefing to familiarize you with MBA’s lobbying efforts and key banking bills. Handouts are provided to share with your lawmakers. Afterward, we will walk to the Capitol to visit the state representatives and senators who represent you and your banks. Appointments are scheduled in advance by MBA staff. You are encouraged to observe the House and Senate at work and take in the artwork and history on display in the Capitol building.

We will return to the Millbottom for lunch and to hear from legislative and industry leaders on the legislative process, banking issues, the importance of advocating for your banks.
