Banks throughout Missouri are participating in a voluntary program to prevent fewer bank robberies. Through the "No Hats, No Hoods, No Sunglasses" bank robbery prevention program, banks voluntarily display signs requesting customers to remove their hats, hoods and sunglasses when entering the banks' lobbies. This makes identification easier and has proven to deter potential robbers.

The "No Hats, No Hoods, No Sunglasses" program has been endorsed by the FBI, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and local law enforcement agencies statewide.
