Banking Compliance Specialist
Missouri Bankers Association seeks a person with expertise in banking laws and regulations to assist MBA members. Responsibilities include conducting in-bank and offsite reviews - potentially including compliance, BSA, HMDA and/or loan reviews; providing other customized reviews and consulting; answering compliance-related calls and emails; writing articles on compliance issues; monitoring state and federal regulatory, legislative and legal issues; conducting research projects; and developing compliance materials and job aides. Job requires prior extensive knowledge of and experience implementing state and federal banking laws and regulations; ability to analyze and interpret laws and regulations; proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. The person in this position must be detail-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently and with others.
