MIB is hiring an operations application analyst to provide support and maintenance to ensure its business processes are efficient and effective. This role is a hybrid of IT technical skills and operational business process knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • perform monitoring, maintenance and testing of core applications to ensure stability and performance along with managing application deployments, updates and migrations
  • provide technical support to the operation department’s core system users and backup of technical activities performed by team members
  • work with business users to understand operational needs, gather requirements and recommend application improvements, as well as improving workflows and documenting business processes
  • analyze data related to operations and applications that may involve developing custom queries, reports or dashboards to track performance metrics and support business decisions

Requirements 

  • bachelor’s degree in a business-related field of study preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience supporting business applications in the banking or financial services industry 
  • proficiency in application support and troubleshooting 
  • knowledge of banking systems, such as core banking, payment processing and financial reporting applications
  • experience using databases, data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms

Phelps County Bank is hiring a director of loan operations to join its team. This position works with both the Phelps County (Rolla) and Greene County (Springfield) markets, and it can be located in Rolla or Springfield.  

Responsibilities

  • oversee the recruitment, hiring and ongoing management of a team of loan operations staff
  • ensure team has the necessary skills and capacity to efficiently process and service loans while adhering to compliance regulations and meeting production goals
  • serve as the people leader for the loan operations department

Requirements 

  • at least 7 years in banking, with detailed knowledge of residential, commercial, consumer and leasing loan products
  • minimum 5 years managing other groups of managers within loan operations
  • proven leadership with large scale loan operations and guiding strategic initiatives
  • high school diploma or general education degree; prefer bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • oversee loan compliance program, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations, and managing internal audit and quality control processes
  • supervise compliance staff and coordinate with loan officers, processors and risk management teams to maintain regulatory alignment and operational integrity
  • ensure adherence to the loan compliance across all lending functions
  • lead and coordinate internal quality control audits for loan operations
  • design and implement regular compliance training programs for staff

Requirements 

  • bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or related field
  • 7+ years of related banking experience and/or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • strong knowledge of TRID, Fair Lending Act and other applicable regulations
  • experience supervising staff and managing compliance programs.
  • should hold or will obtain a Certified Regulatory Compliance Management certification within 2 years
