MBA is excited to launch a new resource for its members that builds on the association’s strategic plan goal “to make every banker an advocate.”
Prepared by MBA’s government relations team, the MBA Advocacy Toolkit is a one-stop-shop for all things advocacy. The toolkit lists all state and federal lawmakers and their contact information. The toolkit also includes voting information and options for bankers to become more involved in MBA’s advocacy efforts, whether through the Target Banker program or hosting an in-district meeting with lawmakers.
“This toolkit is designed to be used by all staff and employees,” said MBA Senior Vice President David Kent. “We encourage bankers to incorporate the toolkit as part of your orientation manual and staff training, and we recommend sharing the toolkit with your board of directors.”
